The movie is based on X-Men by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby The Dark Phoenix Saga by Chris Claremont & John Byrne. 20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment, The Donners Company and TSG Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Hutch Parker and Todd Hallowell. The motion picture is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dark Phoenix was released on 5th June 2019 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. Dark Phoenix was made on a budget of $200 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $252 million. Cinematography was done by Mauro Fiore and editing by Lee Smith. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.
