After the demolition of the Babri Masjid, Anwar, a student of Aligarh Muslim University, becomes a fundamentalist and ends up in prison. His wife Sameera yearns for him be the soft and loving husband that he once was. But what happens when he is out of jail? Central Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Daivanamathil was released on 1st June 2005. Cinematography was done by Sunny Joseph and editing by Beena Paul. The music was composed by Pravin Mani.
