A former INA officer tries to save his son who was sentenced to death for being disloyal to India and murdering hundreds of people, and he discovers that a close friends son is the mastermind behind it all. Dada is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama movie starring Mammootty, Sai Kumar, Murali, Rajan P Dev, Ishrat Ali, Arjun and Jai Thakur. Dada was Produced by Sargam Kabeer. Dada is written by Prabha Bharti, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula, Arvinder Singh, Alka Yagnik, S. Suresh Babu and Vinayan and it is directed by T.l.v. Prasad and Vinayan. Sargam Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Dada was released on 15th September 1999 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Dada was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanjeev Shankar and editing by G. Murali. The music was composed by Mohan Sithara.
