Mick Dundee and Sue Charlton live happily in New York until Sue receives incriminating photos from her late ex-husband, leading to their capture by a drug cartel; with the help of Leroy and his street gang, Mick rescues Sue and they flee to Australia, where Mick uncovers his ownership of land and a gold mine, leading the cartel to track them down and kidnap one of Micks friends before Mick outsmarts them with his Aboriginal friends, saving his friend and reuniting with Sue.
