Zoo Entertainment Pvt Ltd was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vivek Gomber. The motion picture is written and directed by Chaitanya Tamhane. Artscope Memento Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Court was released on 17th April 2015 in Marathi,Hindi,Gujarati and English languages and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. Court was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹14 lakh. Cinematography was done by Mrinal Desai and editing by Rikhav Desai. The music was composed by Sambhaji Bhagat. At the 2015 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film. At the 2014 Venice Film Festival It also won an award for Best Film.
