After discovering a deadly countdown app, multiple characters are faced with their impending deaths and team up to break the curse, but when they seemingly succeed, a new version of the app appears, hinting at a possible continuation of the deadly game. Countdown is a 2016 American English-language Thriller Horror motion picture starring Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Katharine Isabelle, Anne Winters, Elizabeth Lail, Peter Facinelli and David Sturgeon. WWE Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Morris, Sean Anders and Michael J. Luisi. Countdown is written by Richard Wenk and Michael Finch and it is directed by John Stockwell. Lionsgate Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Countdown was released on 27th May 2023 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. Countdown was made on a budget of $6 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million.
