The COVID-19 lockdown severely affects a community of alcoholics, as limited access to alcohol leads to withdrawal, desperation, encounters with law enforcement, strained relationships, reflection on past choices, and the need to find new coping mechanisms, ultimately shedding light on the overlooked struggles of addiction during a crisis. Corona Dhavan is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama movie starring Lukman Avaran, Sreenath Bhasi, Johny Antony, Irshad Ali, Sruthy Jayan, Seema G. Nair and Jo Hhary. James & Jerome Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) James John and Jerome John. Corona Dhavan is written by Sujai Mohanraj and directed by C.c. Nithin. Magic Frames acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Corona Dhavan was released on 4th August 2023 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. Cinematography was done by Janeesh Jayanandan and editing by Ajeesh Anand. The music was composed by Rijo Joseph.
