A truck driver named Rubber Duck becomes a hero as he leads other truckers to evade and confront the police while being chased by a local sheriff named Dirty Lyle. Convoy is a 1978 American English-language Action Drama movie starring Kris Kristofferson, Ali Macgraw, Burt Young, Madge Sinclair, Franklyn Ajaye, Ernest Borgnine and Carla Christina Contreras. The movie is inspired from Convoy by Bill Fries Chip Davis. EMI Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert M. Sherman. The movie is directed by Sam Peckinpah. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Convoy was released on 10th June 1978 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Convoy was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $22 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by B. W. L. Norton. Cinematography was done by Harry Stradling and Jr. and editing by John Wright and Garth Craven. The music was composed by Chip Davis.
