When an expedition to the African Congo ends in disaster, a new team is assembled to find out what went wrong. Congo is a 1995 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Laura Linney, Dylan Walsh, Ernie Hudson, Grant Heslov, Joe Don Baker, Tim Curry and Paul Speaks. The movie is inspired from Congo by Michael Crichton. The Kennedy/Marshall Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kathleen Kennedy and Sam Mercer. Congo is written by Michael Crichton and John Patrick Shanley and it is directed by Frank Marshall. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Congo was released on 9th June 1995 and takes a screen time of 108 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Congo was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $152 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Patrick Shanley. Cinematography was done by Allen Daviau and editing by Anne V. Coates. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
