A couple of aliens crashland on Earth and try to hide while being pursued by an INS agent, but eventually settle in New Jersey and have a daughter who grows up wanting to fit in with humans before the family is saved and returns home. Coneheads is a 1993 American English-language Comedy Sci-Fi motion picture featuring Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin, Robert Knott, Jonathan Penner, Whip Hubley, Howard Napper and Don Mcleod. The movie is based on Coneheads sketches from Saturday Night Live by Lorne Michaels. Lorne Michaels Productions in association with NBC Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lorne Michaels. Coneheads is written by Tom Davis, Dan Aykroyd, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner and it is directed by Steve Barron. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Coneheads was released on 23rd July 1993 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. Coneheads was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $21 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tom Davis, Dan Aykroyd, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner. Cinematography was done by Francis Kenny and editing by Paul Trejo. The music was composed by David Newman.
