Action Crime Thriller

A former Army Ranger is on a prison transport plane that gets hijacked by inmates posing as guards, and he tries to stop them while also saving a female prison guard from being sexually assaulted. Con Air is a 1997 American English-language Action Crime movie starring Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi, Ving Rhames, Colm Meaney and Nikky Smedley. Swastik Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jerry Bruckheimer. Con Air is written by Scott Rosenberg and directed by Simon West. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Con Air was released on 19th June 1997 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Con Air was made on a budget of $75 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $224 million. Cinematography was done by David Tattersall and editing by Chris Lebenzon, Steve Mirkovich and Glen Scantlebury. The music was composed by Mark Mancina along with Trevor Rabin.
