Dr. Susan Wheeler investigates a series of suspicious comas and uncovers an illicit organ black-market operation at the Jefferson Institute, despite facing resistance from colleagues and being drugged by the mastermind, Dr. Harris. Coma is a 1978 American English-language Drama Horror film starring Genevi Ve Bujold, Geneviève Bujold, Michael Douglas, Elizabeth Ashley, Rip Torn, Richard Widmark and Mary D. Mascari. The movie is inspired from Coma by Robin Cook. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Martin Erlichman. The movie is directed by Michael Crichton. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Coma was released on 6th January 1978 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes.
