A group of students at Dennington Prep school recover stolen money by creating counterfeit coins, but encounter a glitch that forces them to seek help from their friends and offer the stolen money for immunity to their school board president. Coin Heist is a 2017 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Sasha Pieterse, Alexis G. Zall, Alex Saxon, Jay Walker, Neal Huff, Michael Cyril Creighton and Grace Curley. The movie is based on Coin Heist by Elisa Ludwig. Adaptive Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) T.j. Barrack, Ash Christian, Anne Clements, Marshall Lewy and Claire Skowronek. Coin Heist is written by Emily Hagins and Elisa Ludwig and it is directed by Emily Hagins. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Coin Heist was released on 6th January 2017 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. Cinematography was done by Noah Greenberg and editing by William Paley. The music was composed by Jeremy William Smith.
