Coffy, a nurse seeking revenge for her sisters addiction, goes undercover as a prostitute to eliminate drug pushers and a mob boss, becoming a vigilante after her police friend is attacked, all while uncovering her corrupt boyfriends betrayal before ultimately avenging her sister. Coffy is a 1973 American English-language Action Crime movie featuring Pam Grier, Booker Bradshaw, Robert Doqui, William Elliott, Allan Arbus, Sid Haig and Cosmo Sardo. American International Pictures in association with F. P. Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert Papazian. The movie is written and directed by Jack Hill. American International Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Coffy was released on 11th May 1973 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Coffy was made on a budget of $0 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $2 million. Cinematography was done by Paul Lohmann and editing by Chuck McClelland. The music was composed by Roy Ayers.
