A year after the Zero Requiem, Nunnally and Suzaku are abducted by the rulers of a desert nation who plan to use Nunnallys ability to restore political power; however, Kallen, Sayoko, and Lloyd, along with the help of C.C., rescue them and with the aid of a portal, Lelouch is fully resurrected and they successfully defeat the rulers, ultimately leaving together with the goal of eliminating the misuse of Geass. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection is a 2019 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Action motion picture starring Jun Fukuyama, Takahiro Sakurai, Ayumu Murase, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Wataru Takagi, Keiko Toda and Tomoyo Kurosawa. The movie is based on Code Geass by Gor Taniguchi and Ichir kouchi. Sunrise was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jun Yukawa and Yoshimasa Tsuchiya. The movie is directed by Gor Taniguchi. Showgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection was released on 9th February 2019 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $9 million.
