A love triangle between a guy and two girls, who are best friends but the complete opposite of one another. Cocktail is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, Randeep Hooda and Dimple Kumar. Illuminati Films in association with Eros International. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. Cocktail is written by Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Ali and it is directed by Homi Adajania. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Cocktail was released on 13th July 2012 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Cocktail was made on a budget of ₹53 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹74 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Mehta and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Yo Yo Honey Singh and Salim Sulaiman.
