Closed Circuit

A bomb explodes in Londons Borough Market, leading to the arrest and trial of a Turkish immigrant named Farroukh Erdogan, but his defense lawyers, Martin Rose and Claudia Simmons-Howe, discover that Erdogan is actually Mussi Kartal, an informant for MI5, and suspect MI5s involvement in the attack and subsequent cover-up, leading them to go on the run with Kartals son to protect him, and while the case eventually collapses, evidence of MI5s involvement is later leaked to the media. Closed Circuit is written by Steven Knight and directed by John Crowley. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Closed Circuit was released on 21st November 2013 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $6 million.
