Clair Obscur

This is a narrative that explores the contrasting lives of two Turkish women, one oppressed by societal norms and the other enjoying modernity, as well as a psychiatrists investigation into a young womans crime and her own reflections on love, relationships, and societal pressures faced by women, ultimately challenging preconceived notions of feminism, tradition, and personal autonomy. Clair Obscur is a 2016 Turkish-language Drama film featuring Funda Eryi It, Ecem Uzun, Mehmet Kurtulu, Okan Yalab K, Funda Eryigit, Okan Yalabik and Birol Türk. Clair Obscur was Produced by Yesim Ustaoglu, Titus Kreyenberg, Ye Im Ustao Lu, Marianne Slot, Klaudia Smieja and Eliza Oczkowska. The film is written and directed by Yesim Ustaoglu and Ye Im Ustao Lu. Clair Obscur was released on 16th December 2016. Cinematography was done by Michael Hammon and editing by Agnieszka Gli ska and Svetolik Mica Zajc. The music was composed by Antoni Komasa-lazarkiewicz.
