CityLights is the story of a former army driver who moves to Mumbai with his family in search of work, but ends up being blackmailed and killed while trying to escape a theft situation. City Lights is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller motion picture featuring Rajkummar Rao, Mallhar Goenka, Manav Kaul, Pramod Pathak, Patralekha Paul, Vinod Rawat and Mahmood Hashmi. The movie is inspired from Metro Manila by Sean Ellis. Vishesh Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mukesh Bhatt. City Lights is written by Sean Ellis and Ritesh Shah and it is directed by Hansal Mehta. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. City Lights was released on 30th May 2014 and takes a screen time of 1-59minutes. City Lights was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ritesh Shah. Cinematography was done by Dev Agarwal and editing by Apurva Asrani. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with :, Jeet Gannguli and Raju Singh.
