Chowka

Four friends are falsely accused of different crimes throughout the years and come together in jail to seek justice for a school teachers murdered daughter, ultimately sacrificing themselves to expose the truth and clear the teachers name. Chowka is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language Romance Drama film starring Prem Kumar, Vijay Raghavendra, Prajwal Devaraj, Aindrita Ray, Priyamani, Deepa Sannidhi and Giri Dwarakish. Dwarakish Chitra in association with United Spirits. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Yogish Dwarakish and Yogish Dwarakish Bungale. Chowka is written by Tarun Sudhir, A. P. Arjun, Simple Suni, A. V. Chinthan, Anil Kumar and Yoganand Muddan and it is directed by Tarun Sudhir and Tharun Kishore Sudhir. Mysore Talkies acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Chowka was released on 3rd February 2017 and takes a screen time of 178 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Chowka was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹20 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tharun Kishore Sudhir. Cinematography was done by Satya Hegde, S. Krishna, Santhosh Rai Pathaje, Shekar Chandru and Sudhakar Raj and editing by K. M. Prakash. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty along with Arjun Janya, V. Harikrishna, Anoop Seelin and Sridhar V. Sambhram.
