Chorni

A maid named Deepa is assaulted during a Diwali party, framed for theft, and imprisoned, but is later adopted by a compassionate judge who helps her reform, struggles to adjust to her new home, falls in love with the familys physician, and faces complications when she discovers that the judges son was part of the group that assaulted her, leading to her being sent back to a remand home before her reputation is redeemed by the judges sons. Chorni is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Neetu Singh, Jeetendra Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Shreeram Lagoo, Indrani Mukherjee, Sonia Sahni and Yasmin. Kesar Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) V.k. Sood. Chorni is written by Sharad Joshi, Kiran Kumar, Mrs. Padma Sood and Hasrat Jaipuri and it is directed by Jyoti Swaroop.
