Taking place two years after the showdown between Chihaya and Shinobu at the National Karuta Competion, Chihaya is a high school girl who, alongside her friends, enters another national competition against Shinobu. Hideo Harada has, in the meantime, been crushed by losing to a master player. The high school friends must also restore their master s honour. Written by aghaemi Chihayafuru Part 3 is a 2018 Japanese Japanese-language Drama film starring Suzu Hirose, Sh Hei Nomura, Mackenyu Arata, Mone Kamishiraishi, Y Ma Yamoto, Y Ki Morinaga and Mio Yûki. The movie is inspired from Chihayafuru by Yuki Suetsugu. Robot was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ky Hei Sudate. The movie is directed by Norihiro Koizumi. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Chihayafuru Part 3 was released on 17th March 2018 and takes a screen time of 128 min. The motion picture made a box office gross of ¥1730 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Norihiro Koizumi. Cinematography was done by Hiroo Yanagida and editing by Junnosuke Hogaki. The music was composed by Masaru Yokoyama.
