Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Chandu was released on 28th January 2007 in Hindi,Mandarin Chinese and English languages and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rajat Arora and Shridhar Raghavan. Cinematography was done by Himman Dhamija and editing by Aarif Shaikh.
