Lightning McQueen and his friends try to stop a group of criminal lemon cars from sabotaging the World Grand Prix and destroying the eco-friendly fuel, with Mater becoming involved in the mission after being mistaken for a spy. Cars 2 is a 2011 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Owen Wilson, Larry The Cable Guy, Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, John Turturro, Eddie Izzard and Jeremy Jahns. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar Animation Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Denise Ream. Cars 2 is written by John Lasseter, Brad Lewis, Dan Fogelman and Ben Queen and it is directed by John Lasseter and Brad Lewis. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Cars 2 was released on 25th August 2011 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Cars 2 was made on a budget of $200 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $559 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ben Queen. Cinematography was done by Jeremy Lasky and Sharon Calahan and editing by Stephen Schaffer. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Michael Giacchino.
