Bharathans gambling business is shut down when a carnival arrives in town, but after finding a job there he becomes close with the owner until a jealous coworker attempts to kill him and frames him for a murder, leading Bharathan to prove his innocence and bring the real culprit to justice while also experiencing a love story with Gowri, a woman who turned to prostitution to support her family.
