A single mother struggling with drug addiction is taken hostage in her own apartment by a man on the run who has broken out of jail and murdered the judge assigned to his case. Captive is a 2015 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring David Oyelowo, Kate Mara, Leonor Varela, Jessica Oyelowo, Mimi Rogers, Michael K. Williams and Jeffry Winkler. The movie is based on Unlikely Angel by Ashley Smith. Captive was Produced by Álex García, David Oyelowo, Lucas Akoskin, Terry Botwick, Alex Garcia, Ken Wales and Katrina Wolfe. Captive is written by Brian Bird, Ashley Smith, Stacy Mattingly and Reinhard Denke and it is directed by Jerry Jameson. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Captive was released on 17th September 2015 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. Captive was made on a budget of $2 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.       For the message that no one is beyond hope or redemption to resonate in the least disconcerting way, its crucial that we be reminded of Nicholss actual crimes as infrequently as possible.In paying them this last ditch acknowledgement, the filmmakers try to pass this off as a sober memorial, even though its pushing faith as an infallible cure all.
