A lawyer named Sam Bowdens former client, Max Cady, seeks revenge on him and his family after Sam withheld evidence during Maxs trial, leading to a series of terrifying events and ultimately Maxs demise. Cape Fear is a 1991 American English-language Crime Thriller film starring Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Juliette Lewis, Joe Don Baker, Robert Mitchum and Ken Waters. The movie is based on Cape Fear by James R. Webb The Executioners by John D. MacDonald. Cape Fear was Produced by Barbara De Fina. The movie is directed by Martin Scorsese. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Cape Fear was released on 13th November 1991 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
