Comical goings on at an exclusive golf club. All the members are wealthy and eccentric, and all the staff are poor and slightly less eccentric. The main character is Danny ; he s a caddy who will do almost anything to raise money to go to college. There are many subplots, including the assistant green keeper s pursuit of a cute (obviously stuffed) gopher. Written by Rob Hartill Caddyshack is a 1980 American English-language Comedy Sport film featuring Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Michael O keefe, Bill Murray, Sarah Holcomb and Anna Upstrom. Orion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Douglas Kenney. Caddyshack is written by Douglas Kenney, Harold Ramis and Brian Doyle-murray and it is directed by Harold Ramis. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Caddyshack was released on 25th July 1980 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Caddyshack was made on a budget of $6 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $39 million. Cinematography was done by Stevan Larner and editing by William C. Carruth. The music was composed by Johnny Mandel.
