Amidst the Philippine Drug War, a drug dealer is interrogated and a buy-bust operation is planned to capture a notorious drug lord, but the operation goes wrong, leading to a massacre of officers and uncovering a corrupt detective involved in the illegal drug trade, resulting in a high death toll and a cover-up by the authorities. BuyBust is a 2018 Filipino-language Action Thriller film starring Anne Curtis, Brandon Vera, Victor Neri, Arjo Atayde, Levi Ignacio, Nonie Buencamino and Kayley Carrigan. BuyBust was Produced by Vic Del Rosario Jr. and Erik Matti. The movie is directed by Erik Matti. Viva Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. BuyBust was released on 2nd August 2018 and takes a screen time of 126-128 minutes. BuyBust was made on a budget of ₱86 million and it was a hit at box office gross of ₱97 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anton Santamaria and Erik Matti. Cinematography was done by Neil Derrick Bion and editing by Jay Halili. The music was composed by Erwin Romulo along with Malek Lopez.
