Bulletproof Monk

In 1943 Tibet, a young monk protects a powerful scroll from Nazis, and decades later, teams up with a pickpocket and the daughter of a crime lord to retrieve the scroll from Struckers granddaughter who discovers its a fake, resulting in an explosive museum battle and ultimately, the transfer of the scrolls power to the pickpocket and the crime lords daughter. Bulletproof Monk is a 2003 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture featuring Chow Yun-fat, Seann William Scott, Jaime King, Karel Roden, Victoria Smurfit, Yun-fat Chow and Jacob Ulrich. The movie is inspired from Bulletproof Monk by Image Comics. Bulletproof Monk was Produced by Charles Roven, Terence Chang, John Woo and Douglas Segal. Bulletproof Monk is written by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris and it is directed by Paul Hunter. MGM Distribution Co. acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bulletproof Monk was released on 17th April 2003 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Bulletproof Monk was made on a budget of $52 million and at the box office it grossed only $37 million. Cinematography was done by Stefan Czapsky and editing by Robert K. Lambert. The music was composed by Ric Serra.
