Bug

A waitress living in a rundown motel becomes involved with a drifter and together they self-immolate due to the drifters paranoia over an aphid and government conspiracy, leaving the audience questioning whether the events were real or just imagined. Bug is a 2006 English-language Drama Horror movie featuring Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, Harry Connick Jr., Harry Connick Jr, Lynn Collins, Brían F. O byrne and Bob Neill. The movie is based on Bug by Tracy Letts. DMK Mediafonds International in association with Inferno Distribution LLC and L.I.F.T. Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kimberly C. Anderson, Michael Burns, Gary Huckabay, Malcolm Petal, Andreas Schardt and Holly Wiersma. Bug is written by Tracy Letts and directed by William Friedkin. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Bug was released on 21st February 2007 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. Bug was made on a budget of $4 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Cinematography was done by Michael Grady and editing by Darrin Navarro. The music was composed by Brian Tyler. At the 2006 Cannes Film Festival It won an award for Quinzaine des réalisateurs.
