A 17-year-old boy raised by two feminists discovers surprising truths about his father figure and navigates relationships with the help of a mediator. Buddy is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama movie starring Anoop Menon, Bhumika Chawla, Balachandra Menon, Asha Sarath, Alexander Fehling, Babu Antony and Paul Breitner. Greenie Entertainments was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Augustine Jackson and Reneez Rehman. Buddy is written by Bipin Chandran, Raaj Prabavathy Menon, Michael Herbig, Christopher Doll, Ulrike Fauth, Raaj Prabavthy Menon and Prabavthy Menon and it is directed by Raaj Prabavathy Menon, Michael Herbig and Raaj Prabavthy Menon. UTV acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Buddy was released on 5th July 2013. Buddy was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Prakash Kutty and editing by Dilip Dennis. The music was composed by Navneet Sundar along with Gopi Sunder.
