In a historical setting, Izou protects the Shogun against the New Government Army, saves an elf named Bright, later becomes a guard at a brothel where he meets Sonya, a powerful elf girl, and after joining forces with an orc named Raiden and a sage named Tsukuyomi, they embark on a journey to retrieve magical wands, rescue Sonya from the hands of the Inferni, and ultimately sacrifice himself to revive her, leading to their separation. Bright: Samurai Soul is a 2021 Japanese-language Animation Action film featuring Y Ki Nomura, Daisuke Hirakawa, Shion Wakayama, Miyavi, Maaya Sakamoto, Kenjiro Tsuda and Yuki Nomura. Arect was the production house involved in the project. Bright: Samurai Soul is written by Michiko Yokote and directed by Ky Hei Ishiguro. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bright: Samurai Soul was released on 12th October 2021 and takes a screen time of 80 minutes. The music was composed by Lite.
