Brahmachari

A college student named Ramakrishna, known for his devotion to Lord Hanuman and his vow of celibacy, unintentionally loses his classmate Vasanthas locket during a picnic, which leads to a series of events involving an arranged marriage, misunderstandings, and finally, a happy ending with Ramakrishna marrying Vasantha after the truth is revealed. Brahmachari is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Shammi Kapoor, Rajshree, Chittor V. Nagaiah, Pran Krishan Sikand, Padmanabham and King. Prasad Art Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Venkata Subba Rao Anumolu and A. V. Subba Rao. Brahmachari is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Anand Romani, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, P. Susheela and Bhamidapaati Radha Krishna and it is directed by Rama Rao Tatineni, Bhappi Sonie and Tatineni Rama Rao. Navayuga Films acquired the distribution rights for the film.
