The story follows the life of Mason Evans Jr. from 2002 to college, navigating family dynamics, relationships, teenage experiences, and reflecting on the passage of time alongside his divorced parents and sister. Boyhood is a 2014 English-language Drama film featuring Ellar Coltrane, Patricia Arquette, Elijah Smith, Lorelei Linklater, Steven Chester Prince, Bonnie Cross and Samantha Kelly. Boyhood was Produced by Cathleen Sutherland, John Sloss, Jonathan Sehring and Richard Linklater. The motion picture is written and directed by Richard Linklater. Boyhood was released on 14th August 2014 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Boyhood was made on a budget of $4 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $48 million. At the 2015 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Patricia Arquette). At the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival It also won an award for Best Director.
