Boss is written by R. Raghuraj and directed by Raghu Raja, Raghu Raju and R. Raghuraj. Boss was released on 14th January 2011 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. Boss was made on a budget of ₹70 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹49 crore. Cinematography was done by A. V. Krishna Kumar and editing by P. R. Soundar Raj. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna.
