Boss 2 is about Surya, a rookie who wants to become a Mafia Don and reorganize crime in Mumbai to gain power. Boss is a 2013 Indian Bengali-language Action Romance motion picture starring Subhashree Ganguly, Chiranjit Chakraborty, Yusuf Chishti, Jeet Ganguly and Prasanjit Chatterjee. Reliance Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Reliance Entertainment and Grassroot Entertainment. Boss is written by N.k. Salil and Puri Jagannadh and it is directed by Baba Yadav. Reliance Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Boss was released on 9th August 2013 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. Boss was made on a budget of ₹70 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹49 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by N.K. Salil. Cinematography was done by P. Selvakumar and editing by Md. Kalam. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with :, Jeet Gannguli and S.p. Venkatesh.
