A public figure in India named Surya faces betrayal and loss of trust from his people after money disappears from a bank he built, but through a journey to various countries, he is able to capture the culprit and reclaim the lost money, regaining the trust of his people. Boss 2 is a 2017 Bengali-language Action Crime movie featuring Subhashree Ganguly, Nusrat Faria, Subhashish Ganguly, Jeet Ganguly, Nusraat Faria Mazhar, Indraneil Sengupta and Md Arif Bhuiyan. Jeetz Filmworks in association with Grassroot Entertainment and Walzen Media Works. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jeet and Abdul Aziz. Boss 2 is written by Jeet and Anshuman & Prameet and it is directed by Baba Yadav and Abdul Aziz. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Boss 2 was released on 23rd June 2017. The Film was successful at box office. Boss 2 was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹24 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anshuman & Prameet. Cinematography was done by P. Shelvakumar and editing by Md. Kalam. The music was composed by Jeet Gannguli.
