The filming took place across various locations in the USA including Los Angeles, California, Lakewood, Olympia, Greenville, Spartanburg, and South Carolina. The screenplay was written by Peter Baynham, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jena Friedman, Anthony Hines, Lee Kern, Dan Mazer, Erica Rivinoja, and Dan Swimer and it was directed by Jason Woliner. The film was produced by Sacha Baron Cohen, Anthony Hines, and Monica Levinson for Four by Two Films and Oak Springs Productions and was distributed by Amazon Studios. The music was composed by Erran Baron Cohen. Adept cinematography by Luke Geissbühler and clear cut editing by Craig Alpert, Michael Giambra, and James Thomas makes it a watchable movie. The film was released on Prime Video on 23 October 2020 and occupies a screentime of 96 minutes. An R certificate for the movie was provided by the MPAA.
