In Queens, New York, a talented basketball player faces the challenge of balancing his parents desire for him to secure a scholarship at a prestigious university with his dream of playing in the NBA. Boogie is a 2021 American English-language Drama Sport motion picture starring Taylor Takahashi, Taylour Paige, Bashar Jackson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Pop Smoke, Perry Yung and Mitchell Ito. Immersive Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Josh Bratman, Michael Tadross and Josh Mclaughlin. The motion picture is written and directed by Eddie Huang. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights for the film. Boogie was released on 5th March 2021 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $4 million. Cinematography was done by Brett Jutkiewicz and editing by Joan Sobel. The music was composed by Adrian Younge along with Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Pop Smoke.
