A Bengali couples child with unique abilities leads them down a path of danger and exploration of scientific experimentation and terrorism, prompting them to protect their family at all costs while navigating societal and familial pressures. Bony is a 2021 Indian Bengali-language Sci-Fi movie starring Parambrata Chatterjee, Koel Mallick, Anjan Dutt, Kanchan Mallick, Kanchan Mullick, Zachary Coffin and Rayhan Kadar. The movie is based on Bony by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. Surinder Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nishpal Singh. Bony is written by Parambrata Chatterjee & Aniruddha Dasgupta and directed by Parambrata Chatterjee. Surinder Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Bony was released on 10th October 2021. Bony was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Tiyash Sen and editing by Sumit Chowdhury. The music was composed by Nabarun Bose.
