Bommalattam

A director tries to find the perfect actress for his movie, but things get complicated when he secretly has an illegal relationship with her, leading to her death and an investigation into the directors involvement in other murders, only to reveal that the actress was actually a male dancer raised as a woman who killed two men in self-defense. Bommalattam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language Drama film featuring Arjun Sarja, Nana Patekar, Kajal Aggarwal, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Vivek, S Manivannan Rajagopal and Vatsal Seth. Therkathi Kalaikoodam was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pandiyan, and Dr. Raj T. Rajan. Bommalattam is written by Bharathiraja and directed by P Bharathiraja. Bommalattam was released on 12th December 2008. The Film was successful at box office. Bommalattam was made on a budget of ₹14 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹24 crore. Cinematography was done by B. Kannan and editing by K. M. K. Palanivel. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Himesh Reshammiya along with Monty Sharma.
