Bombay Talkies is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance film starring Rani Mukerji, Randeep Hooda, Saqib Saleem, Vineet Kumar Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Kayoze Irani. Flying Unicorn Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ashi Dua. Bombay Talkies is written by Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Reema Kagti and Anurag Kashyap and it is directed by Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Bombay Talkies was released on 3rd May 2013 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. Bombay Talkies was made on a budget of ₹12 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹9 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Mehta, Carlos Catalan, Nikos Andritsakis, Rajeev Ravi, Ayananka Bose and Pankaj Kumar and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi.
