Three BMX enthusiasts accidentally steal walkie talkies from incompetent bank robbers and are chased through Sydney in a comical series of events, ultimately foiling the robbers planned payroll theft with the help of local kids. BMX Bandits is a 1983 English-language Adventure Crime movie featuring David Argue, John Ley, Nicole Kidman, Angelo D angelo, James Lugton, Bryan Marshall and Samantha Theron. Nilsen Premiere was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tom Broadbridge and Paul F. Davies. The movie is directed by Brian Trenchard-smith. Filmways Australasian Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the movie. BMX Bandits was released on 29th December 1983 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. BMX Bandits was made on a budget of $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Russell Hagg. Cinematography was done by John Seale and editing by Alan Lake.
