Blue Thunder

A Vietnam War veteran and police pilot, Frank Murphy, teams up with a new partner to patrol Los Angeles, but soon discovers that a subversive group, led by his old nemesis, Colonel Cochrane, plans to misuse an advanced helicopter called Blue Thunder; with the help of his girlfriend, Murphy exposes the conspiracy, defeats the conspirators, and destroys the helicopter. Blue Thunder is a 1983 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Roy Scheider, Warren Oates, Candy Clark, Daniel Stern, Malcolm Mcdowell, Paul Roebling and Bernadette Pelletier. Rastar was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gordon Carroll, Phil Feldman and Andrew Fogelson. Blue Thunder is written by Dan O bannon and Don Jakoby and it is directed by John Badham. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Blue Thunder was released on 11th November 1983 and takes a screen time of 109 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Blue Thunder was made on a budget of $22 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $42 million. Cinematography was done by John A. Alonzo and editing by Edward M. Abroms and Frank Morriss. The music was composed by Arthur B. Rubinstein.
