A jewel thief gets betrayed, hides stolen diamond, disguises himself as a detective, retrieves the diamond, loses it, uses heroin as bait, avenges friends death, and escapes to Mexico with the diamond. Blue Streak is a 1999 American English-language Action Comedy film featuring Martin Lawrence, Luke Wilson, Dave Chappelle, Peter Greene, William Forsythe, Nicole Ari Parker and Jessica D. Stone. Blue Streak was Produced by Neal H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe. Blue Streak is written by Michael Berry, John Blumenthal and Stephen Carpenter and it is directed by Les Mayfield. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Blue Streak was released on 17th September 1999 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Blue Streak was made on a budget of $65 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $117 million.
