A single mother and her daughters friends fathers become close over the years, leading to the parents discovering the girls plan to lose their virginity at prom and trying to stop them, ultimately strengthening their friendships and ending with a prank. Blockers is a 2018 American English-language Comedy Drama film featuring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan, Gideon Adlon and Joey Thurmond. Universal Pictures in association with Good Universe, Point Grey Pictures, Hurwitz & Schlossberg Productions and DMG Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hayden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz, Nathan Kahane, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, James Weaver and Chris Fenton. Blockers is written by Brian Kehoe and Jim Kehoe and it is directed by Kay Cannon. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Blockers was released on 19th April 2018 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Blockers was made on a budget of $21 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $94 million. Cinematography was done by Russ Alsobrook and editing by Stacey Schroeder.
