Black Knight

A slacker at Medieval World is transported back to 1328 England, mistaken for a messenger, gains trust from the king, falls in love with a princess, gets exposed as an impostor, escapes prison, teams up with a disgraced knight, overthrows the king, restores the former queen, and is knighted, only to wake up back in Medieval World and accidentally fall into a moat and enter Ancient Rome. Black Knight is a 2001 American English-language Adventure Comedy movie starring Martin Lawrence, Marsha Thomason, Tom Wilkinson, Vincent Regan, Daryl Mitchell, Michael Countryman and Stephanie Sullivan. Regency Enterprises in association with Runteldat Entertainment, The Firm and Inc. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan, Darryl J. Quarles, Michael Green and Paul Schiff. Black Knight is written by Darryl Quarles, Peter Gaulke, Gerry Swallow, Jack Brodsky, Peaches Davis, Michael Green, Jeff Kwatinetz, Martin Lawrence, Arnon Milchan, Aaron Ray, Paul Schiff and Darryl J. Quarles and it is directed by Gil Junger. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Black Knight was released on 21st November 2001 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. Black Knight was made on a budget of $50 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Ueli Steiger and editing by Michael R. Miller. The music was composed by Randy Edelman.
