A man named Nolan Wright survives a car crash but suffers from amnesia and seeks an experimental procedure by a neurologist, Dr. Brooks, to regain his memory, only to discover that he is actually Thomas Brooks, the deceased son of Dr. Brooks, who was killed by his abusive wife; with the help of Ava and Dr. Yeboah, they stop Dr. Brooks from replacing Nolans consciousness with Thomass, ultimately leaving with Nolan and Ava while Thomass fate remains uncertain, but his consciousness is successfully restored.
