The movie is inspired from Bruce Lee s Toughest Fight by Michael Dorgan. Groundswell Productions in association with Kylin Pictures and Anomaly Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Christopher Wilkinson, Michael London, Janice Williams, James Hong Pang, Leo Shi Young and Stephen J. Rivele. Birth of the Dragon is written by Christopher Wilkinson and Stephen J. Rivele and it is directed by George Nolfi. OTL Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Birth of the Dragon was released on 7th December 2017 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. Birth of the Dragon was made on a budget of $31 million and at the box office it grossed only $7 million. Cinematography was done by Amir Mokri and editing by Joel Viertel. The music was composed by H. Scott Salinas along with Reza Safinia.
